Woman Jailed for 12 Months After Rubbing Her Faeces Into Husband’s Mouth During Violent Attack

A 63-year-old woman, identified as Alison Moore, has been sentenced after attacking her husband and rubbing her own faeces into his mouth during a violent confrontation at their home in the New Forest, England.

Moore was said to have subjected her husband, Mr Moore, to repeated physical assaults over an extended period before the disturbing incident, which took place on August 20.

During a hearing at Southampton Crown Court, the court heard that Moore wrestled her husband onto their bed before accusing him of talking too much “Sh*t” and threatening to make him eat it. She then rubbed her faeces into his mouth.

Prosecutor Andrew Coley told the court that Mr Moore eventually managed to free himself from her grip and rushed to the bathroom to wash his mouth.

Before cleaning himself up, he took a photograph documenting the incident, which was later presented as evidence during the proceedings.

Police were subsequently called to the property and arrested Moore. She declined to answer questions during her police interview but later submitted a written statement, which Mr Coley described as a “bare denial”.

The court also heard details of other assaults Mr Moore had suffered during the marriage. On one occasion, Moore reportedly struck him in the face while wearing a ring and hit him across the back with a broom handle.

Photographs presented in court showed a cut above his eye, another minor injury and redness across his back.

In another account of the couple’s troubled relationship, the court heard that three days after the broom assault, they had spent an afternoon drinking at a pub before arguing about when to leave.

On their way home, they stopped at another pub, where Moore was refused service by bar staff. She subsequently accused her husband of failing to “stand up for her” and called him “boring”.

The prosecution described the relationship as having an “ongoing bad feeling” before Moore carried out what was described in court as a vile and “pre-meditated” attack.

Mr Moore submitted a victim impact statement but requested that it should not be read aloud in court. He also said he did not want a restraining order imposed on his wife.

Judge Gary Lucie described his statement as “magnanimous”, considering the offences committed against him, and said the impact of Moore’s behaviour was “plain”.

Addressing Moore during sentencing, the judge said:

“The use of faeces was a gratuitous degradation of the victim. You’ve plainly had a difficult time over the last few years with the death of your parents and other personal circumstances – none of that excuses this behaviour. I see day in, day out, people who abuse alcohol and it is the root of their offending. You don’t seem to yet accept that is your case.”

Defence lawyer Rose Burns told the court that Moore “completely regrets” her actions and had accepted “full blame”.

However, she argued that her behaviour had developed from what she described as “a perception of an imbalance in the relationship”.

She added: “She accepts no amount of poor behaviour by Mr Moore could justify her actions towards him.”

Ms Burns also told the court that several recent family bereavements had left Moore in a “very deep depression”, making her feel “frustrated” with her life and causing her to direct those feelings towards her husband.

Moore was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for 18 months.

Despite the circumstances, she reportedly left the court alongside her husband, who had attended the hearing and remained present throughout the proceedings.

She is understood to be staying at an Airbnb in Dorset after spending three weeks on remand at HMP Bronzefield.

The court also heard about Moore’s previous convictions, including driving with excess alcohol, assault by beating and using violence.

Those offences were linked to an incident in April 2022 involving a builder with whom Moore was described as being “besotted”.

She had reportedly turned up at the man’s home and attacked his partner on the doorstep, pulling out a clump of the woman’s hair during the assault.

Moore denied those charges but was convicted and received a 12-month restraining order.
