In a video circulating online, the woman was seen being questioned after she was allegedly found with the substance.

According to those present in the video, the woman admitted that the substance was intended to spiritually bind her ex-boyfriend so that he would remain emotionally attached to her.

She maintained that her intention was not to harm or kill her ex-boyfriend but to influence him emotionally.
Narrating what happened in Pidgin, she said:
“I tell the man say my ex lock me he go talk say he go do am make he unlock me so as we reached there, he say make we drop money we drop money so that day my ex no unlock me that evening, i con texted one girl (Her friend)like that, I text her she con follow me talk for am as i come his brother dey inside and that him own room i go cook food that day”
When asked whether she intended to spiritually “lock” her boyfriend, she replied:
“Yes”
