Bauchi Schoolgirls Use Their Slippers to Clear Floodwater After Heavy Rain Blows Off Hostel Roof

A video making the rounds on social media has captured the moment female students of Government Girls’ Secondary School, Tafawa Balewa, Bauchi State, struggled to clear rainwater from their hostel after a heavy downpour reportedly ripped off part of the building’s roof.

According to reports, the incident occurred after a torrential rainfall accompanied by strong winds damaged the hostel, leaving the students exposed to the rain.

In the viral footage, several of the students could be seen packing out water that had flooded their hostel rooms, while others used slippers to sweep away dirt and debris left behind by the rain.
