Doctor runs away as woman di£s after undergoing liposuction with unregistered surgeon

A mother of two, Rebeca Llacho Cahuana, has tragically di£d after undergoing a liposuction procedure carried out by an unregistered plastic surgeon.

Reports indicate that she arrived alone for the procedure, which began at approximately 5:00 p.m. on April 17 and was expected to last several hours.

Later that evening, around 10:00 p.m., a clinic worker contacted her sister with distressing news, informing her that Rebeca had developed complications during the surgery.

Speaking to local media, her sister, Jackie, said: “They told me my sister had complications during surgery, but they didn’t give me any details.”

As her condition worsened, Rebeca was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

It was reported that prior to the procedure, she had been in good health and had successfully passed all required medical tests.

The surgery was allegedly performed by José David Molina Barreto, a 37-year-old Venezuelan national who, according to authorities, is not registered as a plastic surgeon with the Peruvian Medical College.

He is currently under investigation for manslaughter. Authorities revealed that he had rented a room at the clinic to carry out the procedure, despite the facility being licensed only for consultations and not for surgical operations. This was confirmed by regional health manager Walther Oporto.

Police have since launched a search for Molina, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
