Bride-to-Be Dies After Liposuction Surgery Ahead of Her Wedding

A 34yr old bride-to-be and lawyer, Antonella Cortéz Chistama, has tragically passed away following complications from a liposuction procedure she underwent in hopes of feeling more confident for her upcoming wedding.

Antonella, who was preparing to walk down the aisle next year, reportedly wanted to look and feel her best on her big day. However, on May 20th, her mother received a call informing her that Antonella had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She was later told that her daughter had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Upon hearing the devastating news, Antonella’s sister rushed to the hospital. Sadly, despite efforts to save her, Antonella passed away.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. The hospital where the procedure took place has since been shut down after police reportedly discovered several irregularities.
