Influencer Dies After Undergoing Liposuction

Glamorous influencer Denisse Reyes has tragically passed away after undergoing liposuction at an unauthorized clinic in southern Mexico.  

Reports indicate that Denisse had her procedure done at San Pablo Medical Clinic in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, a city in the southern state of Chiapas. She later updated her fans on social media, letting them know she was in the recovery stage.  

According to Daily Mail, her uncle, Ammao Rodríguez, revealed that on Monday, her surgeon, Dr. Orlando Gamboa, administered an intravenous medication. However, Denisse’s body did not react well to the medication, and her heart ultimately stopped beating.

“She starts to feel sick and goes into cardiac arrest and at that moment they take her out of the room where she was in the (clinic)” Rodríguez said.

A friend who accompanied Denisse to the clinic stated that medical staff instructed her to wait outside the recovery room, assuring her that they would update the family on Denisse’s condition.  

According to her uncle, Ammao Rodríguez, Denisse was later transferred to Manzur Hospital because San Pablo Medical Clinic lacked an intensive care unit.  

Sadly, her condition did not improve, and she passed away on Wednesday.  

Rodríguez emphasized that before her death, Denisse was completely healthy and showed no signs of illness.  

He also revealed that he has been in contact with Chiapas health authorities to file a lawsuit against Dr. Orlando Gamboa.

He said: “May he authorities do justice to Denisse and may the doctor pay in some way for what he did”

“It’s not fair that she was already fine after her surgery and suddenly her health worsened to the point of death.”
