Katie Price’s latest engagement to Lee Andrews is already making headlines again, and not just because of the massive diamond ring from Dubai. Hours after the proposal news broke, Lee is trending for a surprising reason: this isn’t his first recent “Will you marry me?” moment.
Katie, who has been married four times before (making this her ninth trip down the aisle overall), shared her excitement online with photos of the stunning ring and the romantic Dubai setting. But according to reports, Lee proposed to his then-girlfriend Alana Percival in almost the exact same way—just four months earlier.
Photos show rose petals spelling out “Will you marry me?” behind the couple at Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab hotel back in September 2025. That engagement didn’t last, though—Alana later called it off.
While the couple seems head-over-heels right now, Katie opened up about how they met and what drew her to Lee.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “How I met Lee was esoteric; we connected [by] both checking each others’ socials and quickly realised, “wow, this is for me.”
“In the old-fashioned way, first by words which captured us both. That evolved deeper as we connected further within days getting matching tattoos, and then both deciding to buy rings for the other.
“All this without even meeting, we let fate, but you could say destiny, decide.
“What we have, they haven’t even invented the words. He has now the best version of me which can only grow more, knowing we are each others.”
