Announcing the arrival of their long-awaited baby, Tochi described the experience as an answered prayer and said her family’s happiness was beyond words.

She wrote:

“GOD CAN BE TRUSTED! God has blessed us with the precious gift of a son! After 15 years of waiting, praying, and holding on to hope. Our hearts overflow with gratitude as we hold this beautiful answer to prayer in our arms,”

Reflecting on the years leading up to the arrival of their son, she described the moment as the beginning of a lifetime of thanksgiving, sharing a Bible verse from 1 Samuel 1:27 about the blessing of a child.

She wrote:

“Fifteen years of waiting, and now a lifetime of thanksgiving. What a faithful God we serve! “For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” — 1 Samuel 1:27.

Tochi also used the opportunity to encourage people who are still hoping and praying for children, urging them not to lose hope despite the challenges they may be facing.

She wrote:

“To anyone still waiting and trusting God: may our testimony encourage your heart. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and walks with you through every season. May He renew your strength and fill you with hope.

Concluding her announcement, the new mother invited people to join her family in thanking God for the arrival of their son.

“Please join us in thanking God for our precious son. To Him alone be all the glory.”
