A Nigerian woman has shared why she decided to end communication with a man after he suggested they split the bill during their first date.

In a video posted on TikTok, the woman explained that she had been talking to the man for about a month before they agreed to meet in person.

According to her, the man invited her out on a date, but before they met, he introduced the idea of having a Dutch date, where each person pays for their own meal.

She said she was not comfortable with the arrangement, adding that if she wanted to spend her own money on an outing, she could do so without accepting an invitation from someone else.

Expressing her opinion, she said:

“I was on my own. You insisted on us going for a date, and all of a sudden you’re introducing Dutch dates. If I wanted to go out and spend my money, I wouldn’t need a random man to take me out. I would simply settle myself.

“I’ll leave my house, prepare, do my hair, lashes and everything, then you’ll tell me you want a Dutch date? If you cannot sort the bill on a first date, what exactly are you bringing to the table? Thank God he asked before the date because I blocked and deleted his number immediately,”

The owner of O’llyns Hair and Beauty has shared a video on social media showing a woman who was allegedly caught stealing inside her compound.

In the video posted on the salon’s Facebook page, the woman is seen surrounded by people after she was reportedly apprehended on the premises. During the incident, she was allegedly made to dance while those present questioned her.

According to O’llyns Hair and Beauty, the incident occurred after the woman allegedly gained access to the compound by sneaking in through the gate while a vehicle was driving out.

The salon owner said the suspect was later caught before she could leave the premises.

Following the incident, O’llyns Hair and Beauty advised members of the public to remain alert and ensure that their gates are always properly locked to help prevent unauthorized access to their homes or businesses.

A woman has stirred emotions online after she was reportedly found staying overnight with her children inside a government-owned school classroom.

A video circulating on X captured the moment a group of people confronted her and instructed her to vacate the classroom immediately. During the encounter, the woman emotionally explained that she had nowhere else to live after being forced out of her previous residence.

According to her, the classroom had become the only place where she and her children could sleep at night while she worked as a cleaner at the school.

She said:

“They pursued me from house this where i use since they pursue me from house, so i work here as a cleaner this is where me and my children use to pass the night because there is no where to go.”

When asked about the whereabouts of her husband, the woman revealed that he had abandoned the family before the birth of their youngest child.

She said:

“My husband is not in lagos, he leave us when i was carrying my last child pregnancy so i just decided to stay (In the government school classroom) and manage here with my children”

A King’s Guard has gone viral after he was seen appearing to nearly pass out while standing on duty outside the Household Cavalry Museum in Whitehall, London.

The incident, which was captured on video on July 12, showed the guard visibly struggling as temperatures soared to 29°C.

According to reports, the guard appeared to become increasingly distressed while remaining at his post in the sweltering heat.

As the situation worsened, the guard’s horse also appeared to be struggling, prompting concern from onlookers.

The footage showed the guard sounding the alarm, alerting fellow personnel as the horse continued to show signs of distress.
