A woman has sparked reactions on social media after opening up about her struggles with homelessness and poverty while expressing unwavering loyalty to her husband.

In an interview, the woman revealed that she and her husband travelled on foot to Abuja in January in search of a better life. However, things did not go as planned, and the couple has reportedly been homeless ever since.

Despite their difficult circumstances, she said she remains committed to her husband and has no intention of leaving him.

According to her, they currently sleep outdoors and often struggle to find food, yet she continues to stand by her partner through the hardship.

She explained that her decision to stay with her husband has also affected her relationship with her family, who she claims have distanced themselves from her.

Speaking during the interview, she said:

“I cannot leave my husband for any reason. Because of him, all my family members abandoned me. We’ve been homeless since January and we sleep outside, but I’ll never leave my husband. We barely see food to eat and people laugh at us as if we are nothing.”
