Trans Woman Dies After Being Attacked and Left to Drown While Bystanders Look On Without Helping
A trans woman named Sara Millerey González tragically drowned in Colombia after being beaten, raped, and thrown into a river—while bystanders filmed the horrific scene instead of helping her.

According to Amnesty International, Sara was assaulted and tied up by what authorities believe to be criminal gangs. Her body was later discovered on April 4th in the La García ravine, which flows through the Playa Rica neighborhood of Bello, Colombia.
Eyewitness accounts and Sara’s family say she was seen clinging to a branch, struggling in the muddy waters, while onlookers did nothing to assist her. Some reportedly recorded videos of her final moments.
Her mother, Sandra Borja, said she was alerted by a family member who called her to say that Sara was drowning. When they arrived, they witnessed the devastating scene—but it was already too late.
Her family recalled: “There were some guys standing there, also with their cell phones recording what was happening to her, and they said not to help her,”
“So there was fear of intervening for fear of being shot. It was necessary for the police to intervene.”
She was eventually rescued by firefighters, who rushed her to La María Hospital in central Bello. Sadly, Sara succumbed to her injuries the following day after developing hypothermia.
Medical reports also revealed that her lungs were punctured and she had suffered two cardiac arrests.

A woman has shared her unbelievable experience on social media after discovering she was still pregnant a month after giving birth.

In a video that has since gone viral and was reposted on X (formerly Twitter), the woman explained that after giving birth in March and receiving stitches at the hospital, she returned home thinking her journey through motherhood had just begun. However, just a few weeks later, she began to feel that something wasn’t quite right.
Trusting her instincts, she returned to the hospital—only to be told by doctors that she was still carrying another baby.
Shocked but prepared for whatever came next, she was rushed in for an emergency delivery—and successfully gave birth to a second baby.
Narrating, the X user wrote: “There’s a Xhosa lady on TT who gave birth to a child in March, got stitched and went home. Well, a month later, she felt something was wrong with her, it turns out there was another child in her womb. So, she gave birth again. She now has twins that are a month apart. “

Teen Boy Arrested for Rape After Impregnating 12-Year-Old girl He Met on Facebook, Believing She Was 14
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in Nashville and charged with the rape of a child. Police say the man, Raymundo Juan Reyes Cornelio, met a girl on Facebook and believed she was 14 years old at the time of their encounters.

However, investigators have revealed that the girl was actually 11 years old when they first met online and 12 years old now. Their sexual encounters reportedly began in May 2024.
Police were able to identify Cornelio through a search warrant of his Facebook account, which revealed his phone number and name.
Interestingly, Cornelio had a previous run-in with law enforcement in March when he was pulled over for a window tint violation and found to be driving without a license.
During questioning by detectives, police say Cornelio admitted to the sexual encounters, claiming he believed the girl was 14 at the time.
Cornelio is currently being held in the Downtown Detention Center with a $75,000 bond.

A Tanzanian woman, Getrude Yohana, has opened up about the painful betrayal she experienced after supporting her boyfriend financially—only to be dumped after he landed a job.
Getrude, a mother of two, revealed that during their relationship, she took out a loan to pay her boyfriend Ramadhani’s university tuition, which cost TZS 3.5 million (approximately ₦2.8 million).

Despite the financial burden, she stood by him, and the two lived together as a couple.
However, shortly after Ramadhani secured a job at a bank, he ended the relationship.
Speaking to AyoTV, Getrude shared that their love story began in 2009 when Ramadhani was still a high school student. They dated for two years before moving in together in 2011, even though they were struggling financially at the time. Ramadhani worked as a security guard back then.
She said: “I was a casual labourer then, and he worked as a security guard. He talked to me and said he wanted to go to university because he had passed his high school exams. I agreed.
“I went to my place of work and took a TZS 600,000 (KSh 28,990) loan for him to continue with his studies. All this while, I did extra jobs to provide for the family and even gave him money to print notes until he completed his studies,”
“He changed after a few months and began disrespecting me, saying he was tired of living with a class-seven dropout and a dark-skinned person because he had found someone of his league,”
Eventually, he kicked her and their two children out of the house. Left with no choice, Getrude took legal action and dragged him to court in a bid to ensure he fulfills his responsibilities as a father.
She added: “Even after the court ruled that he was supposed to provide some support for his children, he stopped and even accused me of stealing his household items,”
“I took him to the children’s office yet again, and after he was summoned, he threatened me, saying he would do something if I did not stop pestering him. I even went to his branch manager to talk to him, but it was all in vain,”
“The only strength I have left is to raise my children. I don’t want him back. I hope authorities can help me because he has threatened me several times and keeps taking me to the police station, wasting my time,”
Her husband on his part defending himself, he said: “She did not have any job at that time, and I am not aware of any loans she took out on my behalf. If she did, then she did not tell me and did not show any documents to prove that,”

According to the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), snakeheads can grow up to three feet long and are considered one of Missouri’s newest invasive species threats.
“This fish is one of Missouri’s newest invasive species threats. “They look like native bowfin fish, so it’s important to properly identify.” said Angela Sokolowski, an invasive species ecologist with MDC.
Snakeheads are typically tan in color with dark brown mottling, while bowfins are usually olive-green and have a distinctive black spot at the base of their tail. Another difference is in their teeth — bowfins have peg-like teeth, while snakeheads have sharp, pointy ones.
