Woman Becomes a Lawyer to Bring Her Deported Mother Back to the U.S.

A woman has taken to TikTok to share her emotional journey of reuniting with her mother, who was previously deported from the United States. In the touching video, she revealed that her mother’s deportation was the driving force behind her decision to become an immigration lawyer.

She explained how the separation devastated her family, but rather than giving up, she took matters into her own hands. Determined to fight for her mother, she pursued a law degree and eventually used her legal knowledge to file for her mother’s green card and, later on, her U.S. citizenship.
