Woman Who Claims to Be Missing Madeleine McCann Says She Has DNA Test to Prove It

A woman named Eugenea Collins has made a shocking claim that she is the real Madeleine McCann, the British girl who disappeared in May 2007 while on vacation with her parents in Praia da Luz, Portugal.

According to Eugenea, she has DNA evidence to support her claim. In a report shared by Daily Mail, she explained that she first suspected a connection after seeing Polish woman Julia Wandelt—who previously claimed to be Madeleine—on Dr. Phil’s talk show. Eugenea said the show made her notice striking similarities between herself and the missing child’s photos.

Although Madeleine McCann was blonde-haired and blue-eyed, Eugenea insists that her DNA results show she is 68% English and Northwestern European, which she believes supports her case. However, she admits that her DNA does not match the McCann family.

Eugenea, who was born on October 23, 2002, is close in age to Madeleine, who was born on May 12, 2003. Her suspicions about her identity grew when she tried to obtain a new ID but couldn’t get an official copy of her birth certificate.

“If it wasn’t for me seeing her on the Dr. Phil show I would’ve never known. In a way her stupidity actually helped me find my family.

“I saw the age progressions and it was like I was looking in a mirror. I just know I saw pictures of myself online and it says I’m missing. “She said

Despite reaching out to Operation Grange, the Metropolitan Police’s investigation into the case, Eugenea says authorities have not taken her claims seriously, leaving her frustrated and upset.
