15-Year-Old Girl Dies While Getting Ready for School

A 15-year-old girl, Grace Billows, tragically passed away in her room while preparing for school.

The heartbreaking incident occurred on Tuesday when Grace was found unresponsive on the floor while doing her hair.

Her mother, Lisa, shared that she wasn’t home at the time, as she had taken her youngest daughter, Alice, to a doctor’s appointment. Lisa recalled that when she left the house, Grace was getting ready, but upon returning, she found her unconscious.

Although the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed, Lisa suspects it may have been due to an epileptic seizure. She revealed that Grace was diagnosed with epilepsy last year and also lived with Coeliac disease.

Despite her health challenges, Grace remained passionate and determined in everything she did, her mother added.
Lisa said: “”She was vibrant and so full of life. She was stubborn, she was sarcastic and she would always make you laugh with the things that would come out of her mouth. She loved her history, if you started a conversation with her you couldn’t stop her.

“She was so full of life and she had so much to live for, so many plans. She was going to join KGV [in Southport] when she finished school to study history, English literature, English language and drama.

“She loved history so much, it was her life. She would watch history TV shows, she knew so much.

“I was so proud of her, she was doing so well, she really was. She was so helpful, she would always helpful around the house. She had OCD so she was so clean and tidy.”

“My daughter would have gone on to be something, she would have made it in life. We had plans together, we were meant to be going shopping this Tuesday for her prom dress.”

The funeral service for 15-year-old Grace Billows will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, at 10:30 AM at Thornton Crematorium.
