14-Year-Old Boy Dies After Injecting Himself with Butterfly Remains

A tragic incident has occurred in Brazil, where a 14-year-old boy, Davi Nunes Moreira, passed away after injecting himself with a mixture of water and butterfly remains.  

Davi was rushed to a hospital in Planalto after he began vomiting and his health rapidly deteriorated.

Before his death, he initially told his father that he had hurt himself while playing. However, upon arriving at the hospital, he later admitted to doctors that he had bought an injection from a chemist, mixed it with a dead butterfly, and injected the liquid into his leg.  

His body has been sent to the morgue for an autopsy, as authorities await the full post-mortem results.  

Some locals speculated that Davi may have performed the dangerous experiment due to a social media challenge, but before he passed away, he denied these claims.  

The heartbreaking incident took place last Wednesday in the northeastern Brazilian state of Bahia.
