Men in their 30s and 40s are single because they don’t have respect for women- Lady
A lady named Eyram Yehoussie has shared her perspective on why many men in their 20s get married earlier than men in their 30s.
According to Eyram, men in their 30s and 40s often remain single because they lack qualities that younger men possess. She explained that men in their 20s tend to show more respect and treat women better compared to their older counterparts.
She stated: “These days, you realize that the young boys in their 20s have so much respect and treat women well, unlike their older brothers in their 30s and 40s. That’s why you now see more younger guys dating older women. How do you think they are attracting them? Respect!
“Thatās why you will find a man with a fine face losing out to someone who may not have the best looks but wins with his consistency and effort towards the woman.”

I still don’t know on how a child automatically belongs to a Man and not the Woman- Actress Kemi Lala
Nigerian actress Kemi Lala Akindoju sparked a debate on social media by sharing her thoughts on marriage, childbirth, and the tradition of children automatically taking their fatherās surname.
Quoting scripture, she expressed her belief that women should have the choice of whether or not to take their husbandās last name, instead of it being something men enforce.
She said, āScripture actually says the man cleaves to the woman (but what do I know). Most importantly, a woman should be allowed to choose whether she wants to change her name, keep it, or compound it.ā
Kemi also questioned why, after giving birth, children automatically take their fatherās surname and are considered the fatherās property. She admitted that this tradition troubles her deeply, especially considering what women go through to bring children into the world.
She continued, āHonestly, if we really want to follow the idea that ātwo shall become one,ā the couple should merge both surnames. I still question why children automatically inherit their fatherās state of origin, surname, and why the man āownsā the child. It messes with my head so much, yet itās the woman who goes through a life-transforming process to birth the children, only to be relegated. I donāt have all the answers, but I havenāt found any scripture that says a woman must take her husbandās name. Scripture actually says the man cleaves to the woman (but what do I know).
“Most importantly, a woman should have the freedom to choose. Whether she wants to change her name or not, or compound it. Itās strange that boys are never raised to think their identity will change, but because of her gender, a woman is raised to know that she shouldnāt get too comfortable with the name and identity sheās known all her life. I donāt have all the answers, but I strongly question this practice.ā
