A Ghanaian woman has reportedly been hospitalized after collapsing upon discovering that her husband had allegedly married another woman without her knowledge.

The incident was shared on Facebook by a man identified as Fati Aboni, who said the woman is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. According to him, the incident occurred on Friday, June 26.

Fati claimed that the woman and her husband had been living happily together until she learned just hours earlier that he had secretly taken another wife.

He wrote: “First wife is at the hospital on admission and second wife is home enjoying her new marriage.

My dear brothers, uncles and Fathers, I will plead with you on this issue.

Polygamy has become part of us and it has come to stay. Most women have accepted the fact that it has come to stay.

But we beg you, If you will add another woman as second wife, inform your first wife either a week to the program or even if you can’t tell her, inform the heads of the family, people you know your wife respects so they find a suitable way to put it up to to her. 

But don’t finish with the marriage for the first wife to hear it somewhere as rumors before you confirm it.

This happened in Ashaiman.The second wife marriage happened last week, during the process, the man was home all day with his first wife enjoying happily as they usually do yet the man couldn’t inform her. At least he could hv used that as an opportunity to let his wife know that he is bringing in a second wife.

He kept quiet on the issue and today the wife found out and felt unconscious so she was rushed to the hospital.

Anyway congrats to the new wife and speedy recovery to the first wife. A Nigerian woman has gone viral on social media after sharing her opinion on why some women ask men for money while dating.

The woman went on to suggest that men who are unwilling or unable to meet such requests may lose the opportunity to be considered for a long-term relationship.

She added:

“So once she starts asking for money, she’s planning to marry you. Marry her. Give her the money. If the money no dey, go borrow am. If you cannot borrow the money, move. Move. So the one wey go fit pay, go pay.”

A baby was reportedly discovered at a dumpsite in Nekede, Imo State, according to a video shared on social media.

The footage was posted by Facebook user Opara Precious, who expressed concern and disbelief over the incident while speaking in the video.

According to him, the child was found abandoned at the dumpsite, prompting reactions from residents who gathered at the scene.

While lamenting the situation, he questioned why anyone would abandon a child and urged people who feel unprepared for parenthood to seek alternatives rather than leaving babies in unsafe conditions.

He was heard saying:

“Una born pikin wey fine like this, throw am for dustbin, you are very heartless.”

A woman has drawn attention on social media after sharing a throwback photo and recounting a painful experience from her past relationship.

In a post on X, she revealed that the man she dated at the time was her first love. According to her, she was still preparing for her JAMB examinations while he was also a student.

She explained that she ended up sending him the money she had saved for her education after he told her he was broke and had not eaten.

She wrote:

“This was me after sending my first love the whole money I’ve been keeping for school. He told me he was broke, hadn’t eaten.. blabla… He was in school at the time, and I was still struggling with jamb.

Days after, he started rejecting my calls. Later, he sent me a message that he needed to focus on his studies, and I was distracting him. That he isn’t ready for the depth of love i was showing him.

I was at work when I received the message, I felt dizzy, fell, and was rushed to the hospital.

I took these pictures and sent them to him, thinking he would reconsider, but he didn’t”

She further shared that after sending the photos, the relationship still did not continue, as the communication between them ended.

Visitors at a wildlife park in Anqiu, Weifang, China, were left surprised after spotting what appeared to be a donkey styled to resemble a zebra.

A video of the animal, shared online, quickly gained attention and led to discussions about the unusual display at the park.

Following the circulation of the footage, a staff member at the Qingyun Mountain Folk Custom Amusement Park explained that the animal was part of a themed attraction rather than an attempt to pass it off as a real zebra.

“We’re doing cosplay. We never said it was a zebra!

“We didn’t even put up a sign saying it was a zebra! It’s just a joke, an abstract kind of thing meant to entertain visitors.”

The staff also mentioned that the park had previously carried out similar animal “makeovers” to entertain guests, including styling dogs to resemble pandas.

In one earlier example, Taizhou Zoo presented two Chow Chows dressed to look like pandas on 1 May 2024. The dogs were groomed and had black-and-white dye applied to mimic the appearance of pandas, despite the zoo not having real pandas on display.

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to share her remarkable transformation after overcoming several health challenges following the birth of her twins.

The woman, identified as Mariam Duku Agbatse, reflected on her difficult journey after pregnancy and how lifestyle changes helped her regain her strength and confidence.

Sharing her story on Facebook, Mariam posted photos showing her transformation and recalled a time when she struggled to move without the aid of a walking stick.
