A family has reportedly been struck by tragedy following a road accident along the Abuja-Lokoja Highway that claimed the lives of a doctor, his wife and their daughter on October 19, 2026.

The deceased were identified as Dr. Emmanuel Aiyejina, his wife, Barr. (Mrs.) Helen Aiyejina, also known as Helen Akp, and their daughter, Miss Deborah Aiyejina.
According to information shared on social media, none of the three family members survived the accident.

The sad development was shared by a Facebook user identified as Emmanuel Ogbofa Harrison, who disclosed that he had lost his sister-in-law and her family in the incident.
Expressing his grief over the loss, Harrison wrote:
“I loss my sister in- law on Abuja – Lokoja Road”
