Man Arrested for Raping and Murdering a POS Operator in Lagos State, Nigeria

A female POS operator, identified as Loveth Ifesinachi Okafor, has reportedly been killed in Lagos State, sparking outrage and calls for justice on social media.

According to reports, the tragic incident occurred along the Coastal Road in the Sangotedo area of Lagos State.

A video shared on X captured bystanders at the scene alleging that the victim had been raped before she was killed. However, authorities have not publicly confirmed those specific allegations, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death are ongoing.

Reports further claim that the alleged suspect is currently being held at Ajiwe Police Station after reportedly confessing to the crime. The police have yet to issue an official statement confirming the reported confession or providing further details about the investigation.
