Tyler Robinson Last Messages and Confession Uncovered in Charlie Kirk Murd£r Case

Newly released court documents have revealed chilling details surrounding the case of Tyler Robinson, who is accused of killing Charlie Kirk.

According to filings submitted by Utah prosecutors, investigators closely examined Robinson’s communications in the immediate aftermath of the September 10 incident, including messages sent to his partner, Lance Twiggs.

The documents allege that the 22-year-old contacted Twiggs on the day of the shooting while at Utah Valley University, urging him to ‘drop what you are doing’ and ‘look under my keyboard’.

Authorities claim that a note left under the keyboard contained the following message:

“If you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry.

“I left the house this morning on a mission, and set an auto text. I am likely dead, or facing a lengthy prison sentence”

The letter allegedly included a direct confession, stating:

‘I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it.

“I don’t know if I will/have succeeded, but I had hoped to make it home to you. I wish we could have lived in a world where this did not feel necessary.

“I wish I could have stayed for you and lived our lives together. I lack the words to express how much I love you, and how very much you mean to me. Please try and find joy in this life. I love you, always, -Tyler.”

Investigators reported that the note—partially burned—was later recovered from a trash bin and seized as evidence.

Additional forensic findings included:
“Fingerprints and a smeared palm print in the vicinity of the northeast corner rooftop edge of the Losee Center building, where Robinson dropped off the rooftop to the ground below’ were found”

Authorities also cited cellphone data, which allegedly tracked Robinson’s movements on the day of the incident, including a route mapped toward the university area.

Prosecutors further claim that Robinson discussed the alleged plot on the online platform Discord prior to the incident.

Following the shooting, messages in chat rooms reportedly included:
‘Tyler killed Charlie!!!’

Robinson is also alleged to have sent a message confessing to the act, stating:

‘Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. I’m sorry for all this.

“I’m surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. Thanks for all the good times and laughs, you’ve all been so amazing. Thank you all for everything”

However, in separate communications with Twiggs, Robinson allegedly indicated he did not initially intend to surrender, writing:
“I have no intention of being drug [sic] through the courts in front of the country”

When asked how long the act had been planned, he reportedly responded:
“A bit over a week I believe”

He also allegedly explained his motive, stating he ‘had enough’ of Kirk’s ‘hatred’ and that ‘some hate can’t be negotiated out’.

According to court filings, Robinson later traveled from Utah to Washington County, where he is said to have confessed to his father during a phone call.

Authorities noted that he initially expressed intentions to end his own life but was ultimately persuaded by his parents to surrender to a family acquaintance who is a law enforcement official.

Robinson is scheduled to appear in court again on April 17, where his legal team is expected to argue for restrictions on media coverage, including banning cameras and microphones during proceedings.

The case remains ongoing as investigators and prosecutors continue to build their arguments ahead of trial.
