Professional Colombian bodybuilder Zunilda Hoyos Mendez has been found d£ad in her home, alongside her husband Jarrod Gelling, who reportedly t**k his own life.
According to police reports, Zunilda’s body was discovered inside the house, while her husband’s body was found in the bathroom with self-infl*cted st*b wounds.
Family members believe tensions had escalated between the couple in the days leading up to the tr*gedy. Zunilda had allegedly told her husband that she wanted a divorce.
Her niece, Yuleydis, revealed that Zunilda had planned to help Jarrod recover from a recent knee surgery before traveling to Portugal for an upcoming bodybuilding competition. Afterward, she reportedly intended to return to Colombia alone.

It was reported that the bodies of the couple were discovered around 2:00 PM. Preliminary findings suggest that Zunilda Hoyos Mendez had made the decision to end the marriage due to her husband’s increasingly aggressive behavior.
