Man who started the LA fire arrested by police
A man suspected of intentionally starting a fire in the Woodland Hills area of LA has been arrested following a citizen’s intervention.

According to LAPD officer Charles Dinsel speaking to NewsNation, the suspect was restrained by citizens for about 20-30 minutes after allegedly lighting the fire.
The incident began when a resident called 911 reporting an individual attempting to start a fire on Ybarra Road around 4:30 PM.

The LAPD has since taken the suspect into custody and is investigating the incident as a deliberate act.
Reports indicate the suspect is a homeless man in his 30s.
The fire has tragically claimed 10 lives and destroyed approximately 10,000 homes, according to Daily Mail.
