Couples married at 102yr old and 100yr old breaks Guinness World Records
Bernie Littman, 100, and Marjorie Fiterman, 102, have just made history as the world’s oldest newlywed couple!
This amazing pair was officially recognized by Guinness World Records.
Bernie and Marjorie had previously been married for 60 years. Sadly, they both lost their spouses. After moving to the same floor of a senior living facility in Philadelphia, USA, they never imagined finding love again.

But fate had other plans! The two bonded over shared meals and community activities. And now, they’re starting a new chapter together as husband and wife.
Announcing their union, GWR wrote: “They tied the knot on 19 May after a nine-year relationship, making the pair the oldest couple to marry (aggregate age) with their combined ages of 202 years and 271 days.Â
“Bernie hit it off immediately with Marjorie when they first met at a costume party on their floor, and the romance began shortly after—they had their first date on the same day one of his great-granddaughters was born.Â

“Although they both could’ve crossed paths years prior when they attended the University of Pennsylvania at the same time, life seemingly has funny ways of making us wait.Â
“They studied different degrees—Bernie becoming an engineer, Marjorie a teacher—and never met before that fateful day.”Â
The ceremony was said to have been held at the same senior living facility where they first met.Â
Bernie and Marjorie’s wedding was a beautiful celebration held at the senior living facility. Their special day was attended by four generations of Bernie’s family, who came together to wish the happy couple all the best.
