I Just Received a Letter Telling Me Not to Return to the Gym – Lady Cries Out After Being Banned for Taking Too Many Mirror Selfies
According to Edda, she received a letter from the gym informing her that her membership had been terminated. She said she had been training at the facility for the past four years and was shocked by the decision.
Edda explained that she only became aware of the situation when she discovered that her gym access card had been deactivated.
Speaking to German media outlet RTL, she said:
“I find this very strange, because the official John Reed account even reposts mirror photos of other members.”
Responding to the controversy, John Reed Fitness confirmed that Edda’s membership had been terminated.
The gym said:
“We can confirm that Edda Pilz’s contract has been terminated without notice.
“She has repeatedly violated our house rules and had already been warned beforehand.”
According to reports, disagreements involving Edda also spilled into a gym members’ WhatsApp group.
One member allegedly wrote:
“She has the IQ of a 10-year-old girl……With her, staying calm and talking in a composed manner is pointless”
Edda, however, maintained that she never experienced any problems at the gym until her social media following began to grow.
The latest controversy comes just weeks after Edda claimed she was temporarily prevented from boarding a Lufthansa flight because of her outfit.
According to the influencer, she was wearing a tight-fitting gym outfit during a heatwave with temperatures of about 30°C when an airline representative allegedly stopped her from boarding.
She claimed the employee told her:
“You cannot board.”
When she asked for the reason, the representative allegedly replied:
“You have nothing on.
“You are naked.”
Edda said she was eventually allowed to board the flight after putting on a jacket.
