I’m 35 and I’m Single. I Had to Cross the Oceans to Get to My First Date – Man Shares How He Walked Through Floodwater So He Wouldn’t Disappoint His Date

A 35-year-old man has gone viral on social media after sharing the lengths he went to in order to meet his first date after being single for a long time.

In a video posted online, the man was seen walking through a flooded road as he made his way to meet his date.

According to him, he decided to give love another chance after spending a long time without dating and is determined to settle down this year.

While making his way through the flood, he humorously declared that nothing would stop him from pursuing his goal of finding a life partner.

In part of the video, he said:

“The goal is to marry this year by fire by force.”

After giving up on dating for so long, I took a chance again today. It wasn’t easy, crossing flooded streets in my neighborhood, fighting the daily struggles just to make it out. But sometimes, growth is in the risk, even when the road is rough. Grateful for new beginnings, even through the flood.
