Thousands of Venomous Snakes Captured After Floods Sweep Through Village in Southern China
According to local reports, the incident occurred on July 6 after the Liulan Reservoir collapsed following heavy rainfall linked to Typhoon Maysak.

As floodwaters spread through the village, large numbers of snakes were washed from their habitats and into homes, prompting widespread concern among residents.
Mr. Zhu said a team of eight volunteers worked tirelessly for two days to catch the escaped reptiles after receiving numerous calls from frightened villagers.
Many of the snakes were reportedly found hiding inside homes, particularly in corners and other sheltered areas, as residents alerted the rescue team to their locations.
