Actor Alexx Ekubo Finally Laid to Rest in His Hometown
Late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has been laid to rest in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State.
The burial ceremony took place on Thursday, June 18, at the Mary Slessor School Field in Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, where family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects.
Alexx Ekubo passed away on May 11, 2026, following a battle with metastatic kidney cancer.
His funeral activities began earlier this week with a wake-keep ceremony before the final burial rites were held in his hometown.
