We have gone medically and traditionally, they said nothing is wrong with me. Some traditionalists even said my condition is linked to a curse — South African woman cries out over condition causing her to age rapidly
A South African woman battling a rare and unexplained medical condition has made a public appeal for help after years of searching for answers.

According to information shared by X user Tumi, Khoza has sought both medical and traditional forms of treatment, but none have provided a solution to her condition.

A man identified as Thuleleni reportedly traveled to Khulwa village in Mtubatuba on May 20, 2026, after being contacted by Khoza’s sister, who was seeking assistance for the family.
As the condition progressed, her health reportedly deteriorated further. The family said she began showing signs of rapid aging and eventually became unable to walk.

Khoza stated that doctors informed her she could be suffering from a rare genetic disorder for which there is currently no known cure. She also claimed that medical professionals told her it was the first case of its kind they had encountered locally.
In their search for answers, the family also consulted traditional healers. According to Khoza, some practitioners suggested that the illness could be linked to “ilumbo,” a term used in some communities to describe a spiritual affliction or curse believed to originate from a former partner. However, she said none of the treatments recommended have improved her condition.

I have just watched an episode of a young lady aged 31, who has rare medical-aging condition.
The family has gone to see Drs including Traditional Healers and she hasn’t been helped.
It appears there’s no cure for her condition.
I wonder if there are… pic.twitter.com/FK1Nt8xY6g
