Liposuction Patient Found Dead Days After CCTV Captured Her Being Dragged Into Car Following Procedure
The victim, Yulixa Consuelo Toloza, reportedly underwent a laser lipolysis procedure on May 13 at a clinic identified as Beauty Láser M.L.
According to reports, a close friend who accompanied her for the procedure later returned to the clinic and was told by staff that Yulixa had left on her own.
However, CCTV footage later surfaced showing two men carrying Yulixa — who appeared limp and unresponsive — into a vehicle.

Authorities later discovered the vehicle abandoned in Cúcuta near the Venezuelan border on May 18. Two Venezuelan nationals, Jesús Hernández Morales and Kelvis Sequera Delgado, were arrested in connection with the case.
Yulixa’s body was eventually discovered in a rural area of Apulo on May 19 following information allegedly provided by the suspects.

Authorities later confirmed the arrests of three more individuals in Venezuela, including clinic owner María Fernanda Delgado Hernández, her partner Edinson José Torres Sarmiento, and Eduardo David Ramos, who allegedly performed the cosmetic procedure.

Investigators say the clinic was not authorised to perform invasive cosmetic surgeries and has since been shut down. Reports indicate the business operated under the guise of a beauty salon while advertising low-cost cosmetic procedures online.

Reacting to the case, Bogotá Mayor Carlos Fernando Galán said:
“This was not a case of medical negligence – it was a murder.”
