Influencer Maressa Thereza found alive after being kidnapped from her apartment in Brazil

An influencer, Maressa Thereza, has been found alive after she was kidnapped from her home by hooded intruders.

Maressa was reportedly taken in the early hours of Sunday, May 10, in an incident captured on CCTV cameras.

The footage showed masked men forcing their way into her property before taking her away. After the abduction, the kidnappers allegedly demanded a ransom of £7,560 for her release.

The incident happened at her residence in Recife, located in north-western Brazil.

Hours later, she was discovered alive in a forested area outside the nearby town of Olinda, where she had reportedly been abandoned. She was said to be in good health.

A statement released by her team confirmed that she was safe:

“We inform our fans, administrators, friends and family that, thank God, everything is fine with Maressa now.

“We greatly thank all the concern, affection, messages and prayers received in this moment.”
