Man arrested for Kidnapping girlfriend child after she refused his Marriage Proposal

A Kenyan man named Steve has been arrested after allegedly kidnapping his girlfriend’s child when she rejected his marriage proposal. 

According to Citizen Digital, members of a local policing unit tracked Steve down and arrested him at a town eatery where he worked as a waiter. 

The police stated that Steve remains in custody but will eventually be handed over to authorities in Kisumu. 

Joseph Opole, Chairperson of the Awendo sub-county community policing unit, noted that police had been searching for Steve for the past few weeks after learning of his workplace in Awendo town.
