It is my first time in Abuja, I arrived and the next day I entered one chance — Lady cries out after being robbed

A woman has taken to social media to recount her experience after allegedly being robbed shortly after arriving in Abuja.

In a video shared on TikTok, she explained that she had arrived in the city just a day earlier, and the incident occurred less than 24 hours later.

According to her account, she had set out to visit a friend in Jabi Phase 1 but encountered difficulty locating the exact address. After booking a ride through a car-hailing service, she was dropped off at a nearby location.

She then decided to board a public cab, which already had two passengers inside along with the driver.

She said that shortly after entering the vehicle, the situation escalated when one of the passengers allegedly produced a knife and threatened her. She added that attempts to escape were unsuccessful, as the door handle was not functioning and the windows could not be opened.

The woman stated that she was eventually robbed before the incident came to an end as they threw her out of the car.
