My mother ruin£d my life, no man wants to settle down with me — Woman Cries Out

A woman has taken to social media to open up about how decisions influenced by her family altered the direction of her life.

In a video shared on TikTok, she explained that her journey began about 15 years ago when she left her home country. She traveled through Libya, then moved to Italy, before eventually settling in Germany in search of better opportunities.

Upon arriving in Germany, she took on various jobs, including cleaning and caregiving for elderly people, as she worked hard to establish herself and support her family back home.

According to her, while working and saving, she reached out to her mother with a plan. She suggested that they use her earnings to purchase a plot of land and build a two-bedroom house where her siblings could live comfortably. However, her mother had a different priority.

Instead, she was asked to focus on bringing her elder sister to Germany. Determined to help her family, she used all her savings to sponsor her sister’s relocation and education. After completing her studies, her sister eventually began working as well.

The woman revealed that after saving again, she once more approached her mother about investing in land. Around the same time, she mentioned that she had met a man who wanted to marry her. However, her mother strongly discouraged the idea, insisting that it was not the right time for marriage.

Her mother further advised her to focus on supporting her siblings and completing the family house project before considering settling down.

Faced with these expectations, the woman said she pushed herself even harder, taking on two jobs to meet the growing responsibilities placed on her.
