24-year-old woman disappears with her lover after leaving sn£ke skin on her bed when her parents forced her to marry a man she didn’t want

A 24-year-old woman has reportedly gone missing from her home in Auraiya after leaving behind a five-foot snake skin on her bed, sparking confusion and panic in her village.

According to police, the incident took place in Singanpur village. The woman, identified as Reena, allegedly left her home secretly on Sunday night. On her bed, she left a five-foot snake skin along with her bangles, rings, and clothes, raising questions about her sudden disappearance.

Her unusual actions led some family members and villagers to fear she had transformed into a “naagin,” prompting locals to alert the police. Crowds gathered at the house to see the snake skin before authorities stepped in to investigate.

Police later traced Reena through her mobile phone and discovered that she had been in a relationship with a man from the same village. The man is also reported missing.

Investigators revealed that Reena disappeared shortly after her family arranged her marriage to another man — a proposal she reportedly did not approve of. Police believe she staged the scene to create confusion and delay efforts to track her down.

Reena is the youngest of six children born to her father, Rakesh Valmiki. She left school after completing basic-level education at the local village school.

Reports suggest she had been planning her escape for about three months. During that period, she reportedly visited the Sheshnag temple in Kumhel, Mainpuri, where she brought back a snake idol. Family members also claimed she had spoken about seeing snakes in her dreams.

During the investigation, police found that Reena had been communicating with her lover using her mother’s phone. Authorities traced the number and placed it under surveillance. Her lover is also currently being searched for by the police.
