The incident took place on April 4th, during the bustling Polanco Flower Festival, According to the footage, the man entered the store first, pretending to be a regular customer. He took photos of the luxury sneakers and distracted staff by showing interest in other products on display.

Moments later, a woman—believed to be his partner—entered the store, headed straight for the valuable shoes, and hid them under her top. She then casually walked out of the shop into the busy crowd outside, unnoticed by staff.
A spokesperson for the store spoke out following the theft saying: “As a piece of art that reflects the essence of the sneaker world, the symbolic value it represents for the brand is invaluable.

“At Gallery, we thank our community for being part of an authentic and supportive environment, and we ask society and authorities to help us find those responsible.”
