Michelle Obama Spotted for the First Time in Months After Skipping Trump’s Inauguration Ceremony

Months after skipping the inauguration ceremony, former First Lady Michelle Obama has made her first public appearance at the live taping of their new podcast, “IMO,” at SXSW in Austin, Texas, alongside her brother.

At the event, Michelle Obama was spotted wearing orange pants, a black tank top, and boot heels, paired with her signature bohemian braids.

Her last public appearance was in December 2024, when she was a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Notably, on January 20, 2025, she chose not to attend the inauguration of re-elected President Donald Trump.
