I Regret Spending Lavishly to Impress Others in My 20s- Lady
A woman named Nischa has opened up about her biggest regrets from her 20s in a video shared on her YouTube channel.
Reflecting on her past, Nischa admitted that her biggest regret was reckless spending during her 20s. She revealed that, despite earning a six-figure salary while working at a bank, she spent heavily on cars, expensive clothes, and other flashy items. However, this lifestyle left her feeling empty and trapped in a paycheck-to-paycheck cycle.
She explained: “”It was until i rock bottom I realized i needed to change something and that something started about how I thought about and how I used money I knew that if i wanted to walk away from the life i was in and from the job i hated i needed to build a solid financial safety net to be about to take any other risk so i stopped using money to buy things to impress people but instead saved a huge chunk every single month and eventually I had enough of safety net to quit that Job that i hated and pursue a life that i have always dreamed of.
“I placed this enormous pressure on myself and convinced myself that i have to have it all figured out by a certain age, i was so caught up in chasing the next milestone that i just lost the concept of slowing down and enjoying the journey because I just taught that all the happiness i need would come from this achievements and this is what no one tells you when you measure your happiness solely by your achievements, you are putting your joy in a box and that box gets smaller and smaller until one day and you look back and you wonder where the joy and the journey went so if i could talk to my younger self i would say it is ok if it takes you a little longer to get to where you want to be if slowing down lets you enjoying the ride more then it is worth it.”
Nischa admitted that caring about others’ opinions hindered her growth, saying, “It is the thing that held me back the most…….. stop caring about what other people think about you because your life would look completely different when you do i spent way too much time worrying about how i appeared to others and that is why i intially picked the career that everyone around me seemed to be doing.
She advised young people to stop caring about what others think, adding, “The quicker you could snap out of caring of what they think the happier you would be.”

A UK-based Nigerian man identified as Adewale has reportedly been sentenced to prison for inappropriately k!ssing a patient under his care.
According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by an eyewitness, Adewale relocated to the UK last year and secured employment as a caregiver. While on duty, he was assigned to care for a female patient experiencing severe pain. In an attempt to “comfort” her, he k!ssed her without consent.
Although the first patient did not immediately respond to the act, a second incident involving another patient who reacted and filed a complaint led to a formal investigation. The matter was taken to court, and following the hearing, Adewale was found guilty and sentenced to prison for violating professional boundaries and misconduct.

A proud big cat dad is melting hearts this Father’s Day after welcoming a rare litter of cubs at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, where he’s been a resident since 2012.
The new father of four has stayed close to the den as his cubs spent their first two months snuggled safely inside, away from public view. But just in time for Father’s Day weekend (June 14–15), lucky visitors will finally get the chance to catch a glimpse of the adorable newborns.
As part of the celebration, dads will enjoy free entry, and a live stream set up at the park will allow guests to watch the rare cubs in their cozy den in real time.
Speaking about the joyful event, Dr. Charlotte MacDonald, Director of Animals at the park, said: “The cubs are only the second and third cubs of their species to be born in the world this year and so they really represent a symbol of hope for Amur leopards.
“Cubs only weigh 2 to 3 kilos when born and will spend their first two months in the den inside the house at Leopard Heights.
“Drake is proving again to be a great dad.
“So far, everything is going smoothly, and we’re keeping them under constant supervision.
“The pair are definitely more playful now, much to the delight of visitors who can see live cam footage of them on a special screen at Leopard Heights.”
