I Mistakenly Transferred ₦210K to Her Account, and She Promised to Refund It Minus ₦10K, but She Has Since Switched Off Her Phone – Man Cries Out as He Calls Out Woman and Shares Her Photo

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to seek assistance after allegedly transferring ₦210,500 to the wrong OPay account and failing to recover the money.

In a post shared in a social media group, the man identified the recipient as Grace Ene Ogeze, claiming that the money was mistakenly sent to her account on October 24, 2026.

According to him, he contacted the woman after discovering the error, and they reportedly agreed that she would deduct ₦10,000 and return the remaining ₦200,500.

However, he alleged that although she initially promised to refund the money, her phone number stopped connecting a few hours after their conversation.

Seeking assistance from members of the group, the man claimed that the woman resides around the Karu–Mararaba axis of Nasarawa State.

He also shared her photograph and appealed to anyone who might know her or have information about how to reach her to contact him.

In his post, he wrote:

“Her name is Grace Ene Ogeze
She stays in Karu, marraba Axis of Nasarawa State.

A transferred of #210,500 was mistakingly sent to her opay account on the 24th Oct, 2026.

We have pleaded with her to take 10k out of the money and refund the remaining one. She promised to do so, but a few hours later, her number is not connecting again till today.
