The incident reportedly happened on Saturday, September 26, when two vessels were seen speeding toward the coastline with passengers on board. According to reports, the vessels approached the beach before the migrants made their way onto shore.

Footage from the scene showed a police officer driving an ATV along the beach after the migrants were spotted. Officers then pursued some of the individuals as they attempted to move away from the shoreline.
One of the migrants was seen being stopped by officers and taken down onto the sand as the enforcement operation unfolded.
The video also showed beachgoers watching the incident, with some eyewitnesses appearing to cheer as officers took the migrants into custody.
