Six Confirmed D£ad, 141 Injured including Nigerians Fresh Att£ck in UAE Amid Escalating US–Iran W£r

At least six people have been confirmed dead following a fresh att£ck in the United Arab Emirates as tensions between Iran and the United States continue to intensify.

The update was released by the UAE Ministry of Defence, which confirmed that six people lost their lives while 141 others were injur£d in the incident.

According to the ministry, the victims include individuals from several nationalities, including Nigerians, Azerbaijanis, Yemenis, Ugandans, Eritreans, Lebanese, Afghans, Bahrainis, Comorians, Turks, Iraqis, Nepalis, Omanis, Jordanians, Palestinians, Ghanaians, Indonesians, and Swedes.

Officials also stated that multiple ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) launched from Iran were intercepted by the country’s defence systems during the attack.

The ministry said the interceptions helped prevent further damage and casualties, although the strike still resulted in significant injuries and loss of life.

“UAE air defences engage 9 ballistic missiles, 33 UAVs. The UAE air defence systems on 14th March engaged 9 ballistic missiles and 33 UAVs launched from Iran. Since the onsets of the blatant Iranian aggression, UAE air defences have engaged 294 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1600 UAVs launched from Iran. These attacks have resulted in 6 fatalities of Emirati, Pakistani, Nepali and Bangladeshi nationals, and 141 minor to moderate injuries among nationals of the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia and Sweden. The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats, and will firmly confront any attempts to undermine State security in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, security and stability, and safeguards its national interests and capabilities”
