She Just Never Responded in the Morning — Husband Mourns Military Wife K£lled in Iran W£r

One of the six US service members k£lled in an Iranian drone attack in Kuwait, Nicole Amor, was reportedly just days away from returning home to her husband and two children.

According to her family, the Sergeant First Class was excited to reunite with her loved ones when she was k£lled in the attack at Port Shuaiba on Sunday.

Speaking about the tragic incident, her husband Joey Amor said the family was devastated by the sudden loss.

“She was almost home,” he said.

“You don’t go to Kuwait thinking something’s going to happen, and for her to be one of the first — it hurts.”

He added that on the morning of the att£ck, she suddenly stopped responding.

“She just never responded in the morning,” he said.

Amor served with the United States Army Reserve and was assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command. She first enlisted in the United States National Guard in 2005 as an automated logistics specialist before transferring to the Army Reserve in 2006.

During her military career, she had previously been deployed to both Kuwait and Iraq.

Her family described her as someone who loved spending time with her children. She enjoyed making homemade salsa and growing vegetables in her garden with her son, while also rollerblading and bicycling with her fourth-grade daughter.

Before her death, Amor and her fellow soldiers worked in logistics, ensuring troops received essential supplies such as food and equipment.

She and the other service members were killed just one day after the Operation Epic Fury strikes were launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.
