A woman identified as Oninda Romelus, who once appeared on the reality show Paternity Court, has been arrested after allegedly shooting her four children, k*ll*ng two of them in a shocking incident that has left many in disbelief.
According to court documents, Oninda reportedly told responding officers disturbing statements such as, “They were with the devil.”

Authorities confirmed that two of her children — 13-year-old O’Karreo Covington and 3-year-old Amourra Chapell — were pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims, 8-year-old Kylee Romelus and 9-year-old Traviel Downer, were airlifted to a Houston hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment and are said to be recovering.
Police say Oninda called 911 after the shooting, allegedly telling the dispatcher, “Instead of them doing it to me, I’m gonna do it to them.” When questioned about what she meant, she reportedly replied, “K-ll them all.”
Officers at the scene took Oninda into custody, where she continued making alarming statements such as, “My children are dead to me — they’re with the devil,” and “You can’t take me without me taking you.”

Investigators revealed that Oninda has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault, and she is being held on a $14 million bond.
Reports also noted that Oninda had previously appeared on Paternity Court around 12 years ago, in an episode where she was attempting to determine the father of her oldest child — though none of the tested men were confirmed as the father.
Authorities confirmed that her 17-year-old child was not home at the time of the tragic incident.
