A Nigerian lady identified as Oluwtomishay has opened up about the challenges she faces in dating as a single mother, revealing how most men lose interest in her immediately after she discloses her status.

Speaking in an interview with Ekaf TV, Oluwtomishay shared that she never planned to become a single mom, and it wasn’t something she consciously chose.

When asked if she had ever aspired to be a “baby mama,” she responded: “I was actually in a serious relationship with my baby father before i got pregnant and i don’t think abortion is the next option for me we were both ready he likes the fact that i was pregnant not that we did it to be pregnant 

“It was a mistake, I don’t think abortion is the next thing so we had to just look it through while my baby was born he was still there till she was a year and 3 months that was when everything became rough, I now become a single mom.

Asking if she knows why he changed, she added saying: “I can’t say i did anything I remember i told him i always want to go back to school I finished from Kwara state polytechnic so i wanted to go back to school and i explained to him that I would like to further more and he was like no that he can’t take that

“I was so shocked and me i want to go to school because i am the first graduate in my family and i want to make them proud 

When asked if she does not get a man to marry as a single mom, she added: “I am proud of it Ihave a job now and i am an hardworking person I will continue to take care of her till when God Takes my life

Is she opened to a relationship, she said: “Yes i am open to a serious relationship”

Asked if she has a spec, she said: “I am not a selective person I just want somebody serious good looking and smell nice”
