Jesus does not spare us from pain- Gracie Hunt Mourns 9-Year-Old Relative Janie Hunt, Victim of Texas Flood

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owners Clark and Tavia Hunt, has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic loss of her 9-year-old relative, Janie Hunt, who died in the recent Texas flood disaster.
Janie was one of several children attending Camp Mystic — a Christian girls’ summer camp located near the banks of the Guadalupe River — when the floodwaters surged, claiming dozens of lives.
Grieving the heartbreaking loss, Gracie took to social media to honor Janie’s memory, writing: “Praying for Texas 🙏🏼
“Some days, it’s hard to understand how the world can hold both so much beauty and so much pain. How can the same God who created the stars and set the planets in motion allow such deep suffering? The truth is, we live in a broken world—one that groans for redemption (Romans 8). But Scripture promises that one day, Christ will make all things new—a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13).
“My heart aches for our extended family and friends who lost daughters—for every life lost and every family shattered by the floods in Texas. I don’t have easy answers, but I do know this: following Jesus doesn’t spare us from pain—but it means we never face it alone. 🤍
“Even in the darkest valleys, we hold on to the hope that this is not the end of the story.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day… So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
— 2 Corinthians 4:16–18
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
— Psalm 23:4″

Woman Who Lost Arm and Leg in Train Accident Responds Transport for London for Blaming Her

Sarah de Lagarde, the woman who tragically lost her right arm and leg after being run over by two Northern Line trains at High Barnet station on September 30, 2022, has spoken out against Transport for London (TfL) for allegedly blaming her for the incident.

Sarah, a mother of two, explained that she slipped and fell into the gap between the train and platform on a rainy evening, breaking her nose and knocking herself unconscious. She eventually regained consciousness and cried out for help, but no one heard her.
Shockingly, she said the Tube driver saw her handbag on the platform, assumed it was lost property, and continued his journey without checking for a person in need. Moments later, the train departed at 9:54 p.m., running over her arm.
A second train later ran over her leg before she was finally discovered.

She said: “TfL is blaming me for being run over and crushed by not one, but two London Underground trains.
“TfL’s initial reaction was to label me as a drunk woman wearing high heels, both claims were baseless and have since been withdrawn.
“TfL has posters up across its network urging everyone to “be kind”, which couldn’t be further from how they have treated me.
she added: “I knew in that moment, there was a high chance I was going to die on those Northern Line tracks.

“I started to think about my children, and I knew I owed it to them to come home. I thought to myself, there is no way I am dying here. I need to be with my daughters.
“Miraculously, I survived, but it cost me dearly – the first train took my arm, and the second train took my leg.

“That night I also lost my mobility, my independence, my dignity and, above all, my ability to hug my two young children with both arms.”
