Marrying my stepdad was the best decision I’ve ever made but our love is not what you think it is

A woman who went viral for claiming she married her stepfather has clarified on social media that her husband is actually her late husband’s best friend—not her mother’s ex.

The woman, who goes by the handle @Christywho_ on TikTok, had shared a six-second video showing her passionately kissing her “stepdad” at their Las Vegas wedding, with friends cheering them on. 

She captioned the video, “Marrying my stepdad was the best decision I’ve ever made,” along with hashtags like #marryyourmomsex and #agegap.

Since that post, Christy has explained that it was all a joke, saying the relationship isn’t what people assumed it to be.
