Ban bride price in Nigeria, Men cannot longer afford to buy Yam- Man cries out

A man from Kogi State, Alabi John Ozovehe, has taken to social media to call for the ban of bride price in Nigeria.

According to him, the current economic situation in the country has made it difficult for men to afford items like yams and other traditional requirements for marriage. 

He argued that the bride price system is becoming unaffordable for many.
