WWE Legend Dave Bautista finally opens up about his Weight loss

WWE legend Dave Bautista recently opened up about his weight loss, which left many fans and followers surprised.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on TikTok, Bautista explained that he started losing weight because he didn’t want to stay as big as he used to be, and carrying the extra weight was uncomfortable for him.

He said, “I started trimming down for a specific reason. First, because I just got fat. I gained a lot of weight for a role, and it got to the point where I felt really uncomfortable. I was around 315 pounds and had put the weight on really fast.”

Reflecting on it, he added, “Looking back, I probably overdid it. I was a bit too big, but at the time, I just thought I needed to bulk up. It was an uncomfortable amount of weight, and it took a long time to shed it.”

Bautista shared that losing weight made him feel and look better. “The more I trimmed down, the better I felt. And I noticed that the more I slimmed down, the better I looked on camera next to other actors,” he said.

Some fans were concerned about his health, with people commenting online that he looked too thin. “People say, ‘Oh my God, you’re skinny.’ But when I say out loud, ‘I’m 6’4″ and 240 pounds,’ that still sounds big. People are just used to seeing me much bigger, so now they think I’m anorexic. But I’m still a large guy compared to typical actors. I look like a gorilla next to them, and it’s distracting.”

Bautista revealed that he plans to lose a bit more weight, even though it’s been tough. “I’m basically killing myself to stay this trim,” he admitted. “I’m training hard, and my calories are pretty restricted.”

However, he clarified that he’s not starving himself. “For me, it’s not that big of a deal. I’m just not eating much. I do intermittent fasting. It’s almost 1 o’clock now, and I haven’t eaten yet. I usually stop eating three or four hours before bed.”
