A man should not be praised for dropping N50K Monthly for Food stuffs- Woman

A woman has sparked conversation on social media by stating that men who provide 50,000 naira monthly for food should not be praised.

In a Facebook post, the woman, identified as Mewolaka, explained that while the effort can be appreciated, 50,000 naira isn’t enough in Nigeria’s current economy to cover basic food expenses. She noted that this amount can only buy beans and garri, not enough to fully stock up on foodstuffs.

She wrote: “Someone said we should praise a man dropping 50k monthly for food allowance. Me; sir, we can’t praise him, we can only appreciate him for making efforts. 50k can only buy beans and garri.”
