Woman dies after undergoing BBL In Turkey

A British woman and mother of three, Kaydell Brown, tragically passed away after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery, along with other cosmetic procedures, at a clinic in Istanbul.

 Kaydell, who was 38 years old, had paid £5,400 for a package deal called “Mummy MOT,” which included a BBL, a boob job, and a tummy tuck. The procedures were performed at Clinic Expert on the morning of March 26th, 2024, but Kaydell never made it out of surgery.

Her sister, Leanne, shared the devastating experience with ITV News, revealing that after being informed of her sister’s death, she was handed an envelope of cash and a plane ticket back to the UK. 

Leanne expressed her shock, describing how she was waiting for Kaydell to return from the surgery, only to be told hours later that she had passed away. 

Despite her pleas, Leanne was not allowed to see her sister’s body and was forced to return to England without closure.

“It’s like, ‘Sorry she’s dead’, here’s your plane ticket” she told ITV News 

She continued: “She was really happy. She was excited. We were smiling, having a laugh and she just wanted to get there and get it done.

“They told me that evening that she didn’t make it. I couldn’t believe it. I was still in a room waiting for her to come back. I had asked a few times how long she was going to be, and they kept saying, ”She’s coming”
