We are both trans couples and we can’t let go of each other

Trans couple Ocean and Jaymar recently spoke about their experiences and how they cope after their transitions—Ocean from a man to a woman and Jaymar from a woman to a man. 

In an interview with “Love don’t judge” they shared their journey, including how they met, the challenges they faced, and their deep connection of their love.

The couple revealed that they got married just three months after meeting, despite receiving a lot of judgment from people who believed they shouldn’t be together knowing they were going to transition.

Talking about their first meeting, Jaymar said, “We both met on Facebook. She liked a lot of my posts, and I got into her inbox.”

Ocean added, “Once I opened the inbox, we automatically started connecting. We got to know each other, talked on the phone every night, and even fell asleep while talking. When we found out we were both into tarot cards and spiritual things, we connected instantly.”

Jaymar continued, “I knew she was trans when I first saw her. I noticed her scars in her videos. We became official within a weekend of talking.”

Ocean added, “Two months later, we got married.”

Jaymar shared his health struggles, saying, “I have a lot of health issues and have always been scared to love. When I realized how much she brought to my life, I asked her if she wanted to marry me. Forget the rings and the wedding; let’s just get married, and so we did.”

Ocean said, “There was no doubt in my mind that I would marry him. He was special to me, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.”

Discussing their relationship dynamics, Jaymar said, “This is my first time ever dating a trans woman.”

Ocean added, “This is my first time dating a trans man. I had talked to a trans man before, but I knew he wasn’t my soulmate. Being with Jaymar, he understands me, gets my pronouns right, and makes me feel like a man. Everyone else I dated always reminded me of what I was, but with him, I feel free.”

Ocean started her transition in 2017. “I took two years off in 2020 to focus on myself and then went full force. My first surgery was breast implants in 2017. I’ve also had a nose job and orchiectomy.”

Jaymar began his transition in 2017, paused in 2018 to have his daughter, and then resumed in 2020.

He said: “I started transitioning in 2017 and i stopped in 2018 and had my daughter then i started back up in 2020.”
